You can also set your entire library to private. It feels less more indie and far smaller. Goodreads seems to be more about OMG I MUST SHOW EVERYONE WHAT IM READING. Goodreads is fine for spamming Facebook, but the data really sucks. Take a look at, probably perfect for small libraries. Librarything has better metadata and is the smart choice if you want to catalogue a library.
